Charlotte Town Beach — Attraction in Charlotte

We have been here several times and enjoyed it each time. Fairly rocky, with smooth stones covering most of the area, one can walk around with sandals or shoes. NOT a sandy beach, by any means. One's experience here largely depends on the water level, but regardless, views of the Adirondacks are spectacular. Not sure of fee structure for residents or non-residents, but a worthwhile trip,...

The views are beautiful, but the locals break their own rules by bringing their dogs at all hours (and into the water) and blocking huge sections of the beach for the entire day. I love dogs, but if you're going to ban them on this beach and park area, then everyone should be held accountable, Karen.

Beach was nice... people were unfortuately not! Guests and employees had a very pretentious attitude and were downright rude to non-Charlotte residents. People kept asking us if we were from Charlotte and proceeded to speak unkindly and demeaningly towards us when we said we were not.
