Moments of Hope Church — Attraction in Charlotte

After leaving his position of almost 40 years as the pastor of Forest Hill, David Chadwick started Moments of Hope. It’s a wonderful place filled with wonderful people. He wants this church to be about personal connection and the love of Christ, rather than a large church that must operate as a business. The goal is to have low operating costs, and give away as much as possible to organizations that help people. There are only 6 staff members- everyone else volunteers to keep things running smoothly. Currently, we meet in the gym at AG Middle School. The church just started in March, and has grown a lot since then! We now have a children’s ministry where kids can go during the service and various interest groups (women, couples, etc.). Every week, David preaches a sincere message from the Bible. He is so energetic even after so many years as a pastor, and really has a heart for preaching the gospel. I have previously attended Forest Hill for over 10 years and have a special place in my heart for it, but Moments of Hope is what I need now. This church has blessed my life so much and helped me grow in my relationship with Jesus. Pastor David Chadwick preaches Biblical truth with passion, love, and humility. The love of God shines through him. The worship team is absolutely amazing, and you can feel the Holy Spirit moving through their music. One of the things I also love is their accountability with people’s tithes and offerings. Each week we are told where our tithes have gone. We are also shown videos of how our money has helped, whether locally or globally. Many times a check is presented in person to the recipient and they will tell all about what their group or organization does to spread the love of Christ. I love this church. I attended Forest Hill when Pastor Chadwick was there. I eventually transitioned to Moments of Hope, and this church has been a spiritual blessing. David Chadwick is the best preacher I have known in my life time. I'm almost 40, been listening to him preach since I was 16. Followed him to Moments of Hope Church, from Forest Hill Church. I absolutely love the fellowship and atmosphere here way better. David preaches the truth from the Bible.
