I can’t say enough good things about PBM. I kept my sailboat on a mooring there for over ten years. I also stored my boat there during the winters. The staff are very friendly and took great care of my boat. I have also used their Service Center for my dinghy outboard and Volvo engine with excellent outcomes. The dock staff are also very helpful. Notably, they check all the mooring lines in people’s absence. They are well organized, communicate well, and provide a great service. The facilities are very clean and recently added new bathrooms and showers. The store and gas dock are also well stocked and reasonably priced. A lot of people use PBM and it’s a friendly community. They are environmentally friendly and have well organized garbage and recycling stations. PBM is well situated for a short cruise to the best anchorages on Lake Champlain. For grocery shopping you will need a car since the closest large grocery store seems to be in South Burlington. Although, you can pick up some miscellaneous items in the marina store and General Store in Charlotte. I hope to be back to PBM again!

We were so pleased with the quality of service and professionalism of the team here at Point Bay Marina. We had kept our boat over winters at Shelburne Shipyard for the last 20 years and always got good service from Mary, the Karens, Rick and the yard guys. When the Safe Harbor conglomerate bought them out (and I hope they all are enjoying retirement), the character completely changed. So we came down to Point Bay, and frankly found them even better than Shelburne Shipyard at their best. They do what they say, always make it easy, and keep the yard in great condition. Plus, electricity on the hard is accessible (if you have 100’ of cord), and they welcome you to do work on your own boat when Safe Harbor had too many restrictions. Point Bay is definitely our new home for boating on the Lake!

My home for a week or so while getting the boat in the water and making some shake down runs out on the lake.

We've kept our boat at Point Bay for many years, both on the water and on the hard during the winter. We can't say enough good things about Todd, Ray, Judy, and the rest of the team. PBM treats us like valued customers, always makes time for us, and are friendly and extremely competent. Qualities that are fairly unique on Lake Champlain. We couldn't recommend PBM more highly for either a summer mooring or...
