Great park for getting exercise, bringing the family out hanging out with friends! They have multiple large open green fields in which you can play soccer, cricket, volleyball, disc golf, or many other sports! They also have a great playground for the kids with many swings, slides and space to run. Currently a bummer of the paths are under construction. Only drawback is the bathrooms are pretty dirty feeling- I wouldn't want to use them if I could avoid it.

Brand new playground and mini-playground fantastic for toddlers to practice monkey bars without being dangerous. Plenty of space for tag, and plenty of swings. Not to mention the small walking/scooter/bike trail. The constant plane traffic with low planes to watch is a plus for small kids. Only con are the wood chips-they are the worst with sandals!

I love going to this park.I normally go and walk there. It's like a half a mile around the circle to walk.I do a few laps, I love it.The grounds are well kept there's a play area for kids. There's a huge field for anybody that plays sports like soccer or football. The grounds are well kept.I do see security like police that ride by which I love.

I tell u, comin from the city one thing I can say is NC boasts some of the most beautiful, cleanest large parks! They are truly gems! Very welcoming! Well lit! Friendly citizens! Playground is wonderful for your preschoolers! I liked the walking trail also! Restrooms reasonbly clean! Has a trail thru the surrounding woods for those who are adventurous....! Initial visit on a Friday afternoon was impressive; didn't notice any bufoonery or anything that would make one leery of visiting! Come...

No Trees for shade, also a blind spot when you walking, anyone can come out of the woods and jump you and no one would see are hear me or them.

I'm a woman that makes me uncomfortable so I make sure there are plenty of people there walking when I go to this park.

If not I leave and go to Freedom Park.

And they need to spray for ants.

One of the slabs on the sidewalk is buckle too high (In other words it's no longer joint to the other part of the cement). I once stripped on...
