The staff very respectful but i dont know who it was ranger or police i had a handicap lady earderly and a child that has kabusqui syndrome i didn't took the lady walker with me because i drove her off by the handicap section i drop my son and the lady and part my can on tip of the hill like all other because im not handicap so when it was time for me to pick them up the gard very rudely said you dont have a handicap plate ypu need to do what every one else nicely told him I have a handicap lady with me he told me if need to leave my son went towar me and he raise his voice at my son i ask my husband where is the lady white i was moving and he tell me I all ready told you to leve the same tone he gave me i say that what im doing whent park my car i came downhill to pick the stuff and the lady i see that it stair i had to ask him where i can go that is not stair he rudly tell me please leave i rule told him that what im trying to do but she cant go ups the store rudely he told me the way and i left I cant belive that is worker hard for my money and i pay a entrance to relax for i can be treated so badly. Read moreThis wonderful spot that has become a family favorite!!! Located close to neighboring towns, Buffemville offers a clean well kept beach on the side of a lake. Annual pass is affordable and allows for family fun all summer long. There is a wooden castle with slide for the little guys. We spend most of our time in the water which usually feels like we have the whole place to ourselves. There are multiple restrooms that are kept clean. Individual picnic tables with grilling areas allow for a full day in the sun. As your at the beach you will occasionally see a boat or canoe go by. Not only is it a beach but there are hiking trails along the lake, and boat rentals on the other side. We love it here. The grounds are beautiful and it’s handicap accessible if you are unable to take the steps down. It’s a great place with a little of everything. We went on 4th of July this year, and it was packed!!! Just another testament of how much this place is loved!!!

The mosquitos, gnats, and deer flies were so thick we had to abandon our land to take a trail walk. We returned yesterday afternoon and we were splashing around with our dog on the small beach area and a ranger came and yelled at us that we couldn't be there and there's no swimming outside the roped off area where dogs aren't allowed. When I let him know that wasn't what we were told when we bought the pass, he said, "Well, don't buy one next year, lady." So helpful! I hope that fine example of an Army Corp of Engineers Ranger enjoys working weekends for rest...
