Here’s another hidden gem in Central Massachusetts. The Buffumville Lake is nestled on the Oxford/Charlton line in Central Massachusetts! With only $5 for parking, your whole family will have a great day! There’s tons of space for large family gatherings and they even have a gazebo that you can rent out, but even without that there’s so many picnic tables and built-in charcoal grills! There’s a giant volleyball net and court! Pets are allowed but not on the beach . There’s no lifeguards on duty, but there are loaner life jackets available and swimming area that is roped off! Stay the day and grill! Just don’t bring any alcoholic beverages, as it’s not allowed! Always loved going there until yesterday a snake showed up on the water swimming right next to us. Very beautiful and peaceful place for a walk. I don’t think I’ll be swimming there again

Swimming area is beautiful . The beach and grilling area is kept clean and it’s always refreshing to hit the water . The bathrooms and changing areas are clean too. Been there over 10 times this year and no complaints . Kids love the castle with the slide and the volley ball net . Most of the time the people are respectful with their radios and volume which they play their music . Lots of small...

Wonderful!!!! Grills for family's, float devices allowed. Very clean! Bring your own trash bag and bring your trash out with you. Sometimes they give you a trash bag upon payment. Between $5.00-$15.00...
