Beautiful trail that is obviously well maintained. Easy to follow the markers. The trail has a lot of big rocks and tree roots but it’s easy to maneuver either over them or around. There are planks in muddy areas, which is great. The emerald pool is beautiful and was running very hard today. The trail getting there had a couple small hills. Otherwise, easy trail.

This hidden gem is .07 miles from Rt. 113 on a flat, but rocky, rooty, twisting trail. Parking is across the street about 50 yards down from the trail head. The clear mountain stream is lovely with smaller pools and a deeper pool that is a rich emerald green. Expect really cold temps in the water even on a hot summer day.

Beautiful place! Lives up to its name!! Parking is across the street and the emerald pool is accessible from the Baldface Circle Trail. Short, 20 to 30 minute hike and follow the sound of water to find the pool. Bri g bug spray!!!!

Great place to swim with clear water! There are a few areas to jump into the water that are about 10-15 feet high depending on where you jump. The swimming hole is pretty secluded so there aren’t as many people with the exceptions of holidays or weekends. The trail is 0.7 miles where you’ll take a right where the two trails split. From there it’s less than a minute to get to the...

Well worth it !!! On a hot day of about 95° , the walk wasn't too bad (about 15-20 solid minutes) - the water is chilly but soo refreshing and revitalizing! On hot days like this , cooling off in a swimming hole helps your body to properly regulate your body temperature. Not to mention I'm 7 months pregnant, made the walk there and back fine - definitely went to...
