Sneads Park — Attraction in Chattahoochee

We managed to host our family reunion at the park, but it took a heroic, day-long effort just to make the space presentable. A lovely park to sit and watch the lake. It has a nice boat launch that is easy to reach. They have built in grills and picnic type tables and benches under roof. Plenty of garbage cans around, that are kept empty. If you are looking to fish, the re are plenty of fish to be caught. They have a small playground, that is kept neat. Also a little beach for swimming, however it is at your own risk, as they donot offer a lifeguard. The bathrooms are clean and...

We love this place! Lake Seminole is a beautiful lake on the border of south Georgia and north Florida! I've live here all my life, been other places and always come back. This area has something truly special. If you want to get on lake Seminole Sneads park is a great place to do that or walk, fish, camp or canoe. We spend quite a bit of time up there just walking and looking....
