Creek Nation Casino Checotah — Attraction in Checotah

I checked this place out on a random Friday night. Perfectly acceptable locals slots parlor. The place is a bit of a maze. It looks like a few different buildings have been modded together to create a gaming space.

The building is smokey, so be prepared for that. The staff seemed friendly. I did not interact with any employee, but they looked like they could have helped me, had I needed help. I did get a stare down by a security person. Which I thought was odd? But hey, what are you going to do? Casino security is right up there with TSA employees. Don't interfere with their jobs. Just smile and go about your business.

The machine mix on the gaming floor is decent. You have a good variety. Including a Dean Martin slots game. Not that Dean Martin has ever paid me a dime, but the game just looks like fun, so I get sucked in for a $20 every time! The rewards kiosks all had hand written out of order signs on them. Not sure what that was about. But that was the only "issue" I saw on the gaming floor. No wait I take that back. I played a Mr. Money Bags machine, and the "reels" on the machine were out of alignment. The reels would light up at random patterns. It was very entertaining. Of course on any VGT machine, always pay attention to the bingo card, never the reels.

My only warning, is drive the speed limit. The Checotah police were sitting right outside the entrance of the casino. The main entrance looks like it may be in a speed trap. You know these small towns.

This place is crap. They're system is down so it's cashier time on all cash outs ... All cash outs are hand written... They're s only one cashier, and he's not exactly on his game. Crazy wait time. There's no excuse for just one cashier. Totally rediculous. And that's without mentioning the first machine I placed cash in ... On top of a down system my machine was also down. I had about four attendants eyeball the day out of me before finally one came up. I must've waited on my machine anywhere between 20 - 25 minutes. I'm all about credit where it's due. I'll find something I like even when I don't like it just to be positive and fair... So don't think I'm just thrashing this place... Trust.... Maybe I'll come back ... Probably not, but right now , this place is just horrible. Not satisfied at all. Okay ...the attendants were at least friendly once they FINALLY GOT ON TASK!!! BUT WOW!!! REALLY ?! LOOK IM SO DISSATISFIED IVE GONE ALL CAPS LOCKS!! haven't done that since ... I've never done that ... Anyway... If your thinking about coming here...

Machine's dont pay good too tight even high rollers are leaving and last August was about the last time I got to spin the wheel or be called on special got seats can't remember when I even got a 5.00-20.00 hot seat and I would be there for hours and someone just comes in and wins. If you go there I wish you the best of luck but if someone complains about you...you might not get anything after that....although THAT person that complained about you still gets called go figure. I'll let you know if I ever win a hot seat again...ill let you know... well..it's been another year..got A hot seat and I guess they figure I'm good for another year.. WON'T Miss it at all.. they make it easy to quit going there. Tired of the rip-off.. machines still too tight. I made friends there that I will dearly miss.. only real reason to go there.. but soon.. they won't be blowing money there either..NOT FUN LIKE IT WAS YEARS...
