My husband is interested in geology, and he wanted to check out the quartsite at the Butte. My son drove us there. The day was foggy, and there was a little snow on the ground. We drove to the top of the Butte by way of a narrow winding road. The view at the top was likely great if it had not been for the foggy conditions. We would like to go back in the spring or summer to enjoy the views. We saw a group of wild turkeys cross the road on our way down from the Butte, which was exciting.
