A nice little place, wine was excellent!! Bathrooms, tables, floors, etc was extremely clean. Decor was in tone and simple. Entrance was a little confusing, but as I have come to find, what is a great winery without a little quirkiness? Sandwiches were average. A little "off road" from the Grand River wineries: My one very small critique would be to increase the quality of the food. With two more wineries set to open within months, the competition is as fierce as ever; especially the food! Overall very, very nice! A great test of an Ashtabula County winery is the service quality during the off season, and Emerine definitely passed the test. Looking forward to coming back...
Read moreGreat winery that's right off Rt. 11 in Cherry Valley. Family run and worth looking for if you want to sample good wines you won't find elsewhere. They even make wine ice cream and shakes. That's not adding wine to ice cream it's making wine from cream and wine. You have to try it! They also have root beer wine, along with traditional wines from grapes and other fruit. Read moreIf you are allergic to preservatives stay away from the Razzle Berry. I don't know if it has more preservatives than their other wines, but I had a horrible reaction. The preservatives must be a powder poured in(don't really know), and it was sitting on the bottom. I was fine until I drank the last one inch of wine in the bottle. My wife and I were sharing a bottle, and we both agreed that the flavor of the wine was very good. So, my review is more against the preservatives...
