A hidden gem I never knew existed. Attended a private party here yesterday and was very impressed. I imagine after the snow falls this place must be packed-Great Sledding hill! Actual rest rooms in addition to Port a Potties. Changing rooms also next to swimming area. Lots of shade around the pavillion which is great on a sunny day. Not the easiest place to find but with GPS getting there is not bad at all.

A quiet and reasonably well maintained park. There is plenty of stuff to keep a family occupied here. What is most striking is the peaceful ambiance with so much greenery.

The small children's playground is quite well maintained and it was safe for the kids to play here without adult supervision. The play equipment were clean and sturdy.

There is a small lake with some lifegaurds in this park. When we were there on a sunday there were no life gaurds. The water is ok but is not something I would like to take a dip in. There is too much algae to feel comfortable. Water was looking dirty. There was a barge at one end of the lake. It might be fun to get on to the barge.

There is a small hill with pretty steep slope. Maybe it will be good to ski down this hill in winter. Kids had so much fun going up and down this hill.

The small bridge in this park is good for people who wants to fish or to run their remote boats. Also this location was a bit secluded. However one can see that it is not much used and was a bit...

I like this park , so close to get to ,clean, has everything in 1 place ❤️ Ok I'd like to change a few things .maybe during week it nice ,cleaner and quite .Sat I took my grandkids ,paid the non resident fee 20.00.it was around 10 am .then shortly after the park started to get busy which is nice ,however there was a bday party by the play ground that was over taken by the large group that started showing up really no space for others to enjoy .the music was very loud which appeared to be played on dj equiment .I'm all for a good time . I see there are 2 larger areas for big parties that might free up smaller areas....and the goose poop seems to be out if control ..is the sand ever raked and cleaned . I'm not so sure I would recommend this park...

On September 22, 2018 we held a huge picnic at Mixville Park. We chose this location because it provided everything that we were looking for as far as a pavilion; game area; a child playground and restrooms that were close by. What I didn't like was that the place was dirty. We brought a leaf blower with us because we knew that the wind would blow them throughout the pavilion. What me and my committee were upset about was that back wall. We notified the park department via email and by phone that the wall needed to be washed. It was dirty and had cobwebs. We were told numerous times that it would be cleaned but sadly it was not. Other than this I would highly recommend that park...
