Weâve been going to Fun Fest with our 10-year-old daughter since she was 5 years old and weâve always loved it. Today (Wednesday, October 9), however, we didnât have the best experience. When we walked through the larger corn maze we encountered a group of kids ripping the corn cobs from the stalks and throwing them around. I had to yell at one of them because I was afraid my daughter or some of the many young children in the maze were going to get hit. There wasnât any farm worker around to take care of the situation. Later on, when we were ready to have lunch, we had to wait in line for at least 30 minutes because there was a long line and just one person working at the refreshment stand, and she had to cook, serve the food and be in charge of the cash register. Unbelievable! Finally, we were disappointed to find out that certain foods, such as funnel cakes, are sold only...
Read moreOur family has been visiting Patterson Farms for multiple generations now. My sisters and I were excited to share this experience with our children. Our family recently visited Patterson Farms and were met with hostility, disrespect, and complete disregard for safety after getting on a tractor ride with a driver by the name of Ted. Our children were afraid and we were mortified. Whatâs even more disappointing is we attempted to share our concerns with management so that no one else is subjected to this same behavior. Management has completely disregarded our concerns and is refusing to acknowledge the harm they have inflicted onto our family. For a family that claims to be connected to church and love Jesus, Tedâs behavior and their response is nothing Christ-like. If you care any bit about human decency, well-being, safety, or respect, I donât recommend visiting this...

There's also an easy corn 'maze,' tractors to climb over, slides, beautifully built playhouses, and more kids' activities (but if you're young at heart, you can enjoy them too, I would know)! Even early in the season they have two varieties for picking. I usually go for the apples on the ground since the farm is not allowed to pick/use them. There are plenty of flawless apples that have fallen off, been dropped by little kids, etc that would be a shame to let go to waste. I found $30 worth of dropped apples in two half-rows of...
