Butte Lake — Attraction in Chester

Butte reservoir aka Butte Lake in Plumas County State of California has been a very favorable family camping site for many years especially when I was a very young boy with my kid brother Eric & my elder sister Marilynn & our divorcee father Gerald "Jerry" Benjamin Lindbloom who took each year of our summer vacation to go camping & hiking at the picturesque Butte Lake where we truly enjoyed very much and have very happy fond memories of which we shall cherish for the rest of our lives 😀...

Went there about 9 years ago and it was quiet and peaceful. Not anymore, cars racing through the campground at all hours of the night and day. The group camping section looked like a homeless camp. One camp site was reserved by a college for the whole summer, loud parties well past 10. Large tour groups in vans going down to the expanded lake parking.
