Although Im not allowed to step foot into this casino trespassed for life fot protecting myself against 2 drunk brothers. I stlll have some security Guards I really miss. 1 I couldn’t deliver a Christmas card to a few years back someone I made a promise to that i can’t discuss. I really love the friends and family ive made here and though this casino has brought me more pain for whatever the reason is it will always be the #1 casino and sports book in all of Philadelphia. I love the Security more than words can describe the tower guards John to be exact is the gentleman I look up to. Thats how I would like to carry myself. The games and slots have the best payouts
Did you know they have the most slots in a 50Mile radius? Any bigger radius and I’d hit DE or NJ Harrahs Also has the best Horse track, they have bars on the 2nd and 4th floors i believe a high limit, 2 in the back by the sports book. 1 bar by the VLT video poker machines , and numerous places to eat
Paying $10 for food you eat downstairs 2nd floor by the horse track great cafeteria food court Paying $10-20? There’s a better food court in between high limit and the escalator for the Diamond Tier dining ( definitely recommend eating as a diamond tier card holder can eat for free * you and a +1 everyday if you’d like) diamond tier and Seven Stars eat together and have some really phenomenal buffet style food better than what you’re thinking and soft serve is always on the menu!!)
Theres high dining by the entrance on the 4th floor accessible from the 5th floor escalator down 1 level or straight through the 4th floor Free parking ( not all tiers are for parking) Lower tier is for drop offs and valet parking 2nd level is for Diamond Tier or seven stars each have their own parking a card is required to make the gate go up ( broken it before I deeply am sorry to the head of security. Thank you for understanding) The 4th floor and 5th floor now those are free floors to park 4th floor access is usually tough but if you don’t mind driving around a few times you’ll find some place
There’s a beautiful gift shop as you enter the 4th floor by the Concierge Player rewards Desks. Usually always 4-5 attendees waiting to help you.
If you need to request a mobility scooter I’d call ahead and let them know might be scarce. You can go from the 4th floor to the 2nd floor then either am elevator or escalator from the 2nd to the 1st floor.
Need to take the bus to the CHESTER TRANSPORTATION CENTER 39 bus? No problem it’s outside at the end you entered from towards the jail as if you were heading towards Delaware.
Theres over 2,200 slots thats More than needed and you can smoke in spots in this casino
Those who vape in a non smoking section just don’t even think about it. Im young and I can understand how upset I’d be seeing a punk take advantage of Harrahs kindness and I’ve lost Thousands while being unemployed at the time
Not everything is about money , I feel like I’m with people I really enjoy when I would be at this casino and now I can’t even walk on their property. Theres worse their gambling making a mess. With my Job when I played working for myself bringing in $700 every 4 days working 3-4 hours I’d play it all at Harrahs
When I’d work driving trucks across Pennsylvania for an old man while my family didnt know where I was I’d take my $2,200 cash each drive straight to Harrahs could lose it all and I’d leave with a smile on my face. It’s just money. I’d hate having to drive home letting my folks know I had made money from something and don’t have it because I drove to the casino but have more work lined up won’t let it happen again. That would suck but being not allowed to Harrahs casino the head of security just didnt like me: i was planning on being the youngest seven stars player
Now I don’t gamble anymore at all it’s been since the last time I went in to see John B to let him know how sick my father was and in the hospital as instructed by who cares.
The head of security is a pip...
Read moreI used to work there up until my automobile accident in 2016 August when I was brought to Thomas Jefferson University. I loved my job and I loved the woman n men that I worked with or around and they were all good to me as I was to them. I was so grateful when I got the call for my non gaming license that I was accepted it made me and my now 14 year old so happy as well as my now 18 year old daughter and my now 81 year old dad and my 80 year old mom whom still reside in Las Vegas. I would love to come and check out the great place that I once worked and I must say I was the one who kept to herself and did not go out to different places with any employees cause we all were and they still are adults as I am myself but it was always to far to drive back to my house and my daughter would always stay up until got home. So thank you for just the fun times outside on cigarette breaks and thank you for accepting right away as your equal aka cocktail server. The company Harrah's is one of the best places to work for they hire for your personality and not your physical appearance they want there patrons to have fun. That's why maybe one day I could come and try to apply for an office type of job there since it's been almost eight in August I'm ready but I definitely would need training in whatever the job is cause I've only ever served the public and that's why I had such great love for all of those jobs cause I got to serve people who either worked all day rich poor or in-between it was just great to see them happy and enjoying whatever they ordered cause I always made sure for every customer at my job before that they got everything to the 9 cause you must take care of the kitchen staff and you must help them out with their duties that is why the kitchen staff rules the roost cause they skills and the way they make the entrees look that is how they the customers would also eat at home cause cleanliness is key. I never worked for a unclean diner restaurant ice cream stand and I learned how to clean houses from merry maids so if you tie all those skills together especially coming from a family where I could not dare leave a wet towel after a shower on the floor that's what made me to my personal opinion better then a lot servers cause they never learned from all their jobs and cleanliness is not a learned behavior it is you yourself who has to go through life and pick that skill up or not but I learned it from beginning a little girl.. and I took all of that and made sure when the poker room was downstairs I made sure to keep it as clean as possible. Thank you for letting me rant...
Read moreYesterday was my first trip to Harrahs Chester to watch my daughter’s horse race in one of the big horse races there. I took my mother who is in a wheelchair. We had hoped to rent a scooter but was told by security scooter availability was halted during Covid. I pushed my Mom in the wheelchair. We went to the third floor to get something to eat. Only one place was open 3:00 on Memorial Day Sunday. We did have a very good meal there with quick service and a nice view of the track. I tried to get my Mom closer to the winners circle in case the horse we came to watch won.I asked customer service on the second floor and the person there advised there was an entrance through the parking garage. I pushed the wheelchair down to the parking garage only to be told by a security guard there that there was no entrance. The guard took me to the security station on the first level where I waited ten minutes for a guard to escort me back to the third floor the casino floor and started taking me back into the casino. Evidently there is a winners circle for high rollers in the casino. I explained to him we wanted the horse winners circle he didn’t even know what that was. It was if he didn’t know the horses were outside racing. This security guard took us back to second floor customer service and after about ten minutes of discussion they all came to the conclusion there was no access for wheelchairs to the horse winners circle or the race track level. Through this entire process I missed quite a few good races. We settled on watching the races from the second floor outside grandstand. While sitting outside in the grandstand to watch the race I came to watch there was no televised screen in the infield like at other tracks and I could not hear the announcer calling the race at all due to the loud music with a loud base. All I could hear was loud music. Usually tracks stop all music so you can hear the race being called. My experience was not good. The parking was easy. The bathrooms were Ada compliant. The meal was good once I walked all over pushing a wheelchair and found a place open. The experience of watching the horse race was horrible. Next time, I’ll stay home and watch the...
