Our favorite trail in the park. The round trip is more like 4 miles rather than 3. And there is some elevation change. Can be hot in the summer. When you are close to the actual kings creek falls, you may encounter a small waterfall on the right. That one is not the real one. You need to go a couple hundreds feet forward to see the actual kings creek falls.

The waterfall is majestic. You can view it from the outlook, but you can also scramble down a steep path on the side to the foot of the falls. It is...

We weren't prepared for much snow, so had hard time walking this trail... but the view of the falls was amazing. I do want to go back around Aug. when there is no snow on trails 😂 walk/hike easily. - Visted Lassen Volcanic National Park in May and middle of June. This place is amazing! Still was a lot of snow here and there. Some of the trails or paths were closed, but still so many things to see...

This was a little fairly land hike with all the green around the creek and all the waterfalls🌷 Definitely not a hike for everyone bc there are lots of ups and downs some are quite steep. Okay for kids but maybe not so much older folks. Took us about 40 mins to get to the main waterfall, honestly the staircase waterfall was the best/more worth it part for me. About 3...

The falls are amazing, and the trail to it is not so much. The loop is sketchy in spots with tons of loose gravel and rock. The place was destroyed recently from wildfires, so the trail scenery is tough to look at. There are a few bright signs of life around the creek itself. The water running down the canyon is the highlight.
