One of the best hikes in Lassen! You get spectacular views, moderate elevation gain, well-maintained trail, and oxygen deprivation. The trail gets rougher closer to the peak, and turns into snow walk and then rock climb in the very end (which is a lot of fun on its own). Absolutely worth every step.

Always a great place to visit, you can camp here, hike and much more. We have been there multiple times and still not tired of the views. The camping is very good and they have good facilities. View are definitely worth a visit. If you get the time definitely hike the lassen peak.
