It’s always special visiting the Clay Sturman/Brimmer Skatepark in Cheyenne, WY and catching up with day one friends like @mdub307 (legend 🛹🙌🏻🤘🏻)! This is where I learned to skate and where I spent the majority of my time throughout childhood and adolescence. It’s always interesting seeing how my perspective on this park/certain features within it change with time and age. Some things seem more approachable than ever and others not so much. In my opinion though, I feel like it’s a perfect skatepark. It has every type of feature, for every level, with a nostalgic DIY grittiness, that always seems to invigorate the huck energy. Only 30ish minutes from Fort Collins, CO, and 1.15ish hours from Denver, it makes for an easy day trip. If you’ve never been, consider adding it to your summer skatepark bucket list!🛹🦬🤠 #cheyennewyoming #skateparks #skatetrip #thrasher #hallofmeat #coloradoskateparks #coloradoskatescene #wyomingskatepark #wyoming #wyominglife

I love this lil park the play equipment is great for my 3 & 1 year old it isn’t packed all the time and it has pea gravel. Only down side is it doesn’t get weed eated when mowed and there is some weeds in the play area but that is minor cons the pros deff out weigh. It’s next to the VA and some ball fields if you go between the ball fields there is a smaller play equip.

This huge skatepark is awesome! Great street park skating and bowls. Easy to spend all day here. The layout is very open and the bowls are large. The bowl is fun to skate in and has lots of lines. The bowls are fully lined in coping...no roll ins.Take some time to appreciate the awesome art all over the skatepark!

Good for going to the park, playing ball, and skateboarding or riding your bike. This is all fun until someone's windshield gets broken out. Yall are real funny repping softball players who are supposed to be leaders of our society, but instead abuse their power, break the law, and pick on our younger generation! If skaters got a better rep and didnt get thrown in jail because of how old people see us, we could actually make this park better and make it a way better place to bring your kids. Build something for the scooter kids so they can stay out of our way, this park used to be awesome, and now its kinda lame because all the ogs stopped skating and everybody just hangs out to get drunk and be stupid. Make sports and bikes better for your children in the present and the...

During softball season we basically live here. I love that there is a playground off to the side because sometimes during a game my 4 year old loses interest and it's super convenient to be able to walk over to the playground and blow off some steam. I've never been a fan of the skate park, mostly because I feel maintenance-wise it deserves a lot more attention than the city is willing to give it. It has a lot of potential though. Overall...
