A very beautiful arboretum, featuring several colorful floral arranged flowers, shrubs, and greenery in a naturalized setting. It is a very calm and serene atmosphere, very quiet and a place to enjoy nature and meditate, or have an event such as a wedding ceremony. I am a flower lover, so naturally I would appreciate a place such as this. I loved the bee area, which was a safe place for the bees, which are becoming extinct. I loved the water running through the place, also the various trees, especially the ginkgo, which has been on Earth for several years. There was a comfortable seating area, and they're building, I think, a " She Shed". It's an amazing naturalized place that I recommend...
Read moreI had the privilege of seeing this arboretum grow over the last 4 years. The changes have been remarkable. We were lucky enough to be able to stay a night there. Nothing better than to wake up to the sound of water flowing in the creek. The creek runs from the front to the back and into a pond that is adjacent to the rear deck. A great place to unwind and relax. This arboretum has exotic trees that you would not commonly find around that area. The stone pieces that lead you into a hidden garden are so spot on. Read moreLast Saturday, I attended a 1/2 day retreat at this beautiful arboretum. It was such a great healing experience for me. The day included a guided tour on the stone pathways where Janet showed us her beautiful gardens and amazing basalt stones, an outdoor heart opening yoga session by Tea on the perfect fall day, and an energizing cacao ceremony by Sabine. The retreat also included a tea ceremony, cleansing ritual, and forest bathe meditation. The retreat was a perfect way to relieve stress and enjoy a day of self care surrounded by God's beauty.
