Chickasaw Civic Theatre — Attraction in Chickasaw

Love live theater! A fun time was had by all. Important, charming, well-supported community theater with live musical accompaniment. (For musicals only?) A great evening out which pairs well with a visit to the new waterfront grill around on highway 43. Theater doesn't appear to ever repeat shows, which is catchy, but lose a little without benefit of adding shows to a repertoire (and then continually refine) to gain value of experience with production over time. Website offers no explanation of CURRENT directorship or "staff," but gather these differ from show to show. Likely necessary to keep going. Floors need good regular cleaning. Refreshments are homestyle quaint. Lottery-style offering of limited # of lesser expensive tickets ($5-7?) for select shows would broaden audience. My wife and I attended the short run of I Miss You Already on Saturday April 12th. Both of us were so impressed with the play and the performances. It held my attention throughout. There were so many laughs but also had serious and poignant scenes that would give you tears. Just so glad we got to see this. I am sure this will be a play performed in many theaters over the years. Lastly, the theater and workers as usual make us feel like family and friends. We expect to come back for many years.

Visited this place to see 3CP Improv Comedy. We had a great time. It was good clean fun and family-oriented. It was a little hard to find because I'm not familiar with the area. We got a good parking spot and it was easy to get out once the event was over. I will be checking this place out to see what other events that they are going to host.
