Annie Bidwell Trail — Attraction in Chico

Took a little stroll down the Annie Bidwell Trail, and let me tell ya… she’s got curves like the canyon she rides above. One minute you’re skirting the rim with views of Big Chico Creek sparkling below, the next you’re wandering past a beautiful golf course, where you can catch wildflowers or wedge shots. I tipped my hat to a lizard, cooled off by the stream, and tried not to fall for the whole trail like I do for Schnaubelts and stronger women. It’s rugged, it’s romantic, and it’s got just enough shade to make you wonder what might happen if you bring a date.
