This is the 2nd year my family came to our friends lake house on the Route 202 side of the lake. Kayaking is good. Boats are fun to watch and catch the waves with in a kayak. It isn’t too deep on the sides and it slowly dips into the depths. Highly recommend for a family vacation. It’s magical because every day on the lake is different!

A friend has a camp on the lake. It's a very nice lake for any water activity.

Conveniently located from Waterville or Augusta. 2 areas for public biat launches and a lesser known sand launch in the south. There is a deep basin to the west which is closed off for swimming. The stretch to the east is 6 miles long and great for an afternoon of cruising up and down the lake. Most of the lake is deep enough for all your water needs with minimal places pegged for hazards. The China launch is going through renovations and will be ready to hold over a dozen parked trailers. Plenty of fishing space west of the same boat launch. Much of the shore is developed on the east and sparatic to the west of the...

Great lake for boating, swimming and fishing! 7 miles from the bottom to the top of the lake, one restaurant at the top of the lake you can pull up with you boat. The West Basin is like another whole lake, through the narrows, 4 miles to the Vasselboro put in. The lake quality has improved dramatically and is excellent now. I think due to...
