Various walking paths lead you to alternating views of the canyon. It’s eerie how silent it is at the top of the canyon. The drive in is just as mesmerizing as the view.

Least safe place to go alone in Canyon de Chelly. The parking lot was empty and I had 3 men approach me while I was hiking to the overlook. Do not go alone! Be aware of your surroundings. Maybe stick to the main drive and overlooks at...
