We had an amazing time exploring Canyon de Chelly. Bring cash if you'd like to buy handmade souvenirs. There were very kind natives who were selling that were very informative. There are Canyon tours that perhaps we can try another time. I'm handicapable and found the hiking to be pretty easy given the beautiful weather. I'd say 30% is wheelchair friendly. I use both a walker and cane...Was able to do about 60% of the hiking down to the look offs. The ground is basically all rock/dirt. Thankfully very clean, so no shoes needed for my SDITCA.
