Came here, allured to re-live the experience and scenery from the classic movie McKenna's Gold. I was not disappointed!! There is no gold, but the Golden Ray's of rising sun, the shifting of the long shadoes of towering rocks and formations were enchanting. One can hear the sound of the river 800 feet down below. The view of the canyon from this location is extensive on all the three (two upstream and the downstream branches).
