What an unforgettable experience! I can’t recommend this place enough. Chris and Emily were the best hosts—so friendly and welcoming, they even called us by name and made us feel like family. The property is huge—30 acres—and home to over 700 gators!
My 14-year-old son and I went with my parents who are locals in Chipley and we are visiting from Washington State. My dad surprised us with tickets and just said, “We’re going to a gator farm, where you will be guaranteed to see gators.” We had no clue what was in store, but wow—we were blown away!
Chris and his daughter Emily gave us a personal tour where we got to get up close with gators of all sizes. We fed baby gators, held them, and even hand-fed wild ones at a breeding pond down the road. It was exciting, safe, and something we’ll never forget.
And as a bonus, I got to check off a bucket list moment—holding a one-week-old baby goat! Seriously adorable.
If you’re anywhere nearby or even visiting from far away, this is 100% worth the trip. A perfect adventure for families, animal lovers, and anyone looking for something...
Read moreTHIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE. Last year, I ran across a sweet family that told me about this gem. After going back to TN, I decided on our next trip to Destin this would be something we would try (so I made our tour appointment months in advance). We drove 90 minutes one way to visit here....& I'M SO GLAD WE DID! This place is great for all ages! Such a cool experience we will never forget! Chris is so kind, patient, & informative. His gator farm is cleaned and well maintained. Spending the few hours with him felt like we were spending time with family. We never got bored or felt rushed. We will NEVER forget this day. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. If you're on the fence or unsure, DO IT. I promise you...
Read moreOur family enjoyed learning about gators and various other animals while touring the farm with Chris. He's incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He ensured that each member of our large family had a chance to ask questions (a lot of them) and enjoy the hands-on experiences. We were invited to wade with and feed young gators, hold bunnies, feed and brush large tortoises, and play with goats. We then rode down to the adjacent pond and fed the larger breeding pond gators one at a time. The experience was easy-going and educational. The farm is beautifully kept, safe, and clearly the result of years of hard work and dedication to not only the animals, but a passion for sharing them with visitors. You won't regret...
