You GUYS! I could write a near novel about how much Abella deserves a million and one stars. 5 just doesn't do justice - I've had my eye on Abella before I was even engaged. We toured it and immediately booked - we were in love with the venue from start to finish and are immensely glad we chose Abella to be part of our story.
We originally booked under other ownership, but Megan and Blaine purchasing the venue was a downright blessing. They are hands down the most communicative and the best hype-team you could hope for. We felt so reassured with everything leading up to wedding day and then some. There were plenty of open house opportunities and they were willing to accommodate if we couldn't make an open house and needed to quick pop out there to see something. They come with years of wedding industry experience and you will be in more than great hands if you book Abella.
We ran our rehearsal on-site at the venue and Megan was absolutely amazing at corralling our bunch and making the process smooth. Wedding Day was EVERYTHING and more. Abella is so versatile to have getting ready suites just steps from one another, but still good at keeping the bride and groom separate. Ample light and space. Also, so many choices for ceremony space! We decided to have our ceremony and reception in the same space - the room flip went quickly and turned out amazing. My now husband and I decided to use the doors at the Willows for our first look at personal vows and we are just so glad we did. It was perfect.
I was honestly a little nervous with how "plain" the venue hall seemed a couple months after booking (just bride jitters), but was absolutely gobsmacked with how incredible Megan, our day of coordinator, and the team made the space look. I still cry thinking about how incredible it all looked. I (of course) worried for nothing.
Abella and the team made the best day of our lives truly the best. I could not have imagined kicking off married life anywhere else. I hope if you are reading this review that you are considering Abella as well - please trust me that you will not be disappointed and you will thank yourself over and over and over. We recently celebrated our daughter's wedding here and everything went so smoothly that I was able to relax and enjoy this special day. Leading up to the wedding, Megan was so kind and helpful- answering my thousand questions with a smile and assuring me that they’ve got this. With an April wedding, we decided to hold everything in the French Country Hall with the high, gorgeous windows and beautiful white background. Our florist added just the right pop of color and Spring was truly brought inside. Our guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks in the courtyard and Historic Barn while Megan and her team transformed the ceremony space into a gorgeous reception area. Abella has their own bar service which I wasn’t sure about at first, but this actually turned out better than I could have imagined. Bartender Jordan does numerous calls with you in advance to make sure you have everything you need leading up to the Big Day. We had a couple of special requests that didn’t faze him a bit and he managed them like the pro he is. Megan didn’t stay the entire night, but left us in the extremely capable hands of Lizzy- such a sweetheart who went above and beyond to ensure the night ran as smoothly as the day. Every aspect was better than we ever could have imagined: the stunning French Country Hall, the beautiful grounds for photos, the equally beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, and I can’t say enough good things about Ally, our day-of coordinator!!
We signed up for Abella’s day-of coordinator package, and Ally was THE BEST! She was so helpful and kind throughout the planning process and responded to my many emails and questions and never made me feel like any question was too small or like I was a bother. She made sure we were on track throughout the planning process and helped us know what we still needed to do.
The day of our wedding, Ally and her assistant handled all of the set up and tear down, coordination with vendors and more, allowing us and our families to truly enjoy the day! The day went off without a hitch, and if there was a hitch, I didn’t even know about it because Ally handled it :) She is the reason we were able to relax and simply enjoy the best day of our lives!!
