Came up with the wife to ride the side by side on the trails. Great fun! Trails were for the most part, clearly marked. They are well maintained while still feeling exploratory. Neat little shelters were present to stop and relax at. Wildlife was abundant and the scenery was typical of the MN northwoods-breathtaking! Finding the parking lots was a little challenging, but that was the only hiccup to the day. I would definitely return to drive/ride again!

Great place to visit for a fun hike, four-wheel trip, multiple different hunting options, beautiful views, and lots of animals. If you want to get away and rough it. The camping is great in these areas. Everything you’re looking for an outdoor experience in the middle of nowhere.

If you're looking for somewhere free from modern noises and trappings, this is the place. Seemingly untouched land filled with abundant wildlife and diverse beauty is just one of the reasons I've fallen in love with this area.

Remote and quiet- Lost lake campground was lovely and we were the only ones camping there last night. Nearby Owen Lake campground was almost full, but we had the whole Lost Lake campground to ourselves. There was a little stairway down to the lake with a cute dock, the campsites were spacious and most were grassy and green with trees on 3 sides. I don't know why we were the only ones who valued the privacy... 😁 But I am not...
