Horrible place, horrible rewards programs, even worse business practices and racist Indians running the place. It's no surprise that they'd give their own preferential treatment. But, they hired an illiterate guy to be the head of their security because he's not white. There was a shift manager arrested on site, while on duty, for drug possession and distribution. He was fired, then rehired, THREE MORE TIMES!! White employees have been told to "not waste (their) time applying for a job that a tribal member has applied for.."; by their human resources (vicki). This band of Indians (both Marquette and Baraga), see their objective solely to "take the white man's money" (this was said my the tribal manager on duty). They promote a laziness, alcoholism, and racism to their clan; education, health, and civic duty are as foreign to them as a white man walking into a teepee. This casino has been fined annually for not meeting the minimum payouts for their slot machines, and resist making the change because the income generated far exceeds the amount of the fine. Good luck getting them to admit that that's the exact reason the governor refuses to allow them to build a new casino, on land that's not even in their tribal trust. Entitlement. The dealers are required to perform an ILLEGAL "secondary shuffle" when table games players are winning too much (i.e. "the table is losing"). The pitboss calls surveillance to inform them this shuffle is about to take place (dealers face termination, at a minimum, if this shuffle is done without direction). The pitboss then kicks the back of the dealer's shoe, indicating this alternative shuffle is to take place (if you haven't guessed, said dealer faces termination if it's not done). If this secondary shuffle doesn't make the players start losing, the cards will be prematurely removed from play, and replaced with new ones. Pitbosses even go so far as to direct dealers to "accidentally" bend cards on pitch, so they need to be changed out. If you're in doubt, just ask a dealer or pitboss about kicking the back of a shoe- i promise it'll be like deer in the headlights. I'm not telling anyone to not visit these casinos; merely advising to the mindset and actions of the predators that prey on every person that enters their...
Read moreFor the money usually you'll win right away when you get there and then you don't want to leave because you just got there he went there for a reason y'all to go hang out for a little while and hit some buttons or whatever and then you end up losing the money that you want but you look at it one way you didn't lose any money because you were playing on their money but then you look at it on the other fanned you could leave you could have left and have extra money in your pocket but me personally I usually give it back I like to donate. The way I see it that piece of paper that comes out in the sheen it's not money until there's a green Beck's in my hand then I got money that little piece of paper that the comes out it's not so if I don't cash out if I was the cash out every time when I will always have extra cash. A method I use once in awhile house I know I'm with a certain amount of money and when I win or whatever and I you cash out the slip I put the slip in my pocket and then I'll go to a different machine and I'll put my cash in a machine and then at the end when I spend all my cash on my way out the door I take my slips I put in my pocket even if it ain't I spent at least I'm leaving with something but everybody's different like I said I usually leave empty-handed but there's many times I leave this money when I do leave the money it's usually well over a hundred find the way to machine they do they do that I think once you start winning big they are switch shut the machine down because as soon as you start heading big seems like then you start losing lots they're supposed to pay all the certain amount and they don't the gaming commission comes and they don't even check the machines they just checked the books and if the books are off they like a $5,000 fine so it's worth it to them to have their machines tight because they're only losing five grand or if they had the machine set normal they would pay out more. But I see another ladies the other day when 14 Grand on penny machine many people win over thousand machines and and that's on Penny machines. all this talk of them and I have to go out and spin the wheel two times if you go good luck have fun...
Read moreAs I pull into a parking spot, I noticed a car next to me running....it appeared that the AC was running until an obviously distressed little dog showed itself. I informed the door man about this and his response was "I was already told about it"....so as I enter the casino and during the 20-25 minutes that I was there, I heard NO announcements, getting VERY angry and concerned for the dog I left the casino only to see the doorman whispering something about me as the 2 head security turn around and look at me....I said "what are you going to do", their response was "it's not our fault, call the police". After I told them that this is THEIR job, not mine, I'm a customer here, they each got up close in my face trying to bully me or intimidate me by telling me to "turn around and leave". After their failed demonstration of training tactics, they both just turned away from me and the little dog and walked away to a bus in the background. They did absolutely NOTHING effectively except show me that they cared more about me turning a blind eye so the dogs owner can remain unbothered and keep feeding their pockets. This place usually does security checks around the property every so often, but there was a VERY disturbing difference this day!!!! I would rate this place with NO stars if I could, but will NEVER spend another cent in the shady place!!!! Worse yet, the "authorities" that are trained and paid to handle this situation, the tribal police and heads of security were on site and still did NOTHING. If you think using intimidation and bullying is appropriate way to address your customers, it's disgusting at the least, and will surely end up in even bigger...
