Prairie Haven Events — Attraction in Cimarron City

Located in Guthrie, Oklahoma, this is one of the most beautiful and unique venues I have ever seen. The attention to detail is seen in every aspect of the building. From your first step inside, you see the breath-taking beauty of the round structure with its unique domed ceiling. The owners have poured so much time and love into providing a venue that would hosts your guests in the utmost style and comfort. We had our wedding and reception there and received so many compliments on the beauty of the entire building. With an onsite prep kitchen, grooms suite, brides suite, numerous bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, and large covered upstairs patio, they had everything we needed to hosts the perfect event.

As a bride, the bridal suite was dreamy with plenty of mirrors and stations for numerous girls to get ready at the same time. My hairdresser was delighted that there was even a “ authentic hairdresser chair” for her to use. They literally thought of everything when designing and constructing the building.

My husband and I made our grand entrance to the reception from the custom built stairway which is a focal point as you enter the front doors. Valerie & Jay have done an amazing job of making this venue a unique, functional and beautiful place to host any kind of event you can imagine from weddings to graduation parties, family reunions, holiday gatherings and even concerts. I hope that we will get to book it again...

I highly recommend Prairie Haven Events for a wedding, concert, anniversary, or a family reunion to name some that come to mind. My interest in Prairie Haven was piqued when I watched the Los Angeles Times YouTube video about Jay Branson. This video brought out the fact that Jay is a self-taught architect. After seeing the magnificent structure on the video, I knew I had to see Prairie Haven in person.

My brother and I attended the Michael Murphy concert at Prairie Haven, and I was blown away from start to finish. Valerie, Jay Branson's wife, had a million things to do to get ready for this event; nonetheless she was positive, personable, and complimented me upon our first meet.

Prairie Haven had snacks and drinks for sale before, during, and after the Michael Murphy concert. This enhanced the electrifying concert experience. I discovered after the event that Prairie Haven beer glasses were available for purchase. If I had known, I would have bought a few. I did buy some Prairie Haven T-shirts.

The song, "Wildfire" is repeatedly going through my head after hearing Michael Murphy and his back-up singers perform it live. The magnificent building, graciousness of the hosts, and the pleasure from watching the performance created memories for me that will...

If you are looking for a unique and breathtaking venue, Prairie Haven is the place! In what can be a stressful experience in choosing a wedding venue, it was a joy from the beginning. Upon meeting the owners, we knew we were entering into a partnership that would give our daughter the wedding of her dreams. They were very invested in what their vision was and how to execute it. Although this was the perfect look and feel for their rustic vibe, it can definitely be transformed into many other looks.
