I have shopped at Hunters for years and had no problem with the produce or the customer service until this last year. My husband and I do not like the plastic bags so we ask for paper. We shop there at least twice a week spending 15 to 20 dollars a visit as we eat little meat. This last year we have been literally yelled at by one of the employees when we asked for the paper bag and even asked what we intended to do with the bag. We were so surprised by the question we had no answer. On one occasion the same person gave me such a hard time the woman behind me said I don't want paper as I was leaving. I almost laughed out loud. I will have to find another place to get produce and if I get anyone else to stop shopping there I would...
   Read moreLiterally THE BEST farmers market ever! I don't know what I will do when the market closes for the season. If I want fresh produce that will ACTUALLY be delicious when I take it home and not wilt as soon as I leave the parking lot this is where I go. And their sauces, spices etc are always so fun to try. Also the customer service is otherworldly, I feel like family when I come in and its really refreshing. And they also recommend something delicious while I'm shopping. 10 out of 10! Please go before they close in late November...
   Read moreI stopped in for 3 dozen corn. Three others also at corn station. All asking for more. Amy told us there is plenty and would not add more. I ended up leaving with 1 dozen. As loading my car and returning basket, there Amy was, giggling and laughing with another patron stating "I'll go grab some more corn for you as soon as the others are finished ". Really!!! I knew her father very well and always had wonderful service until that day. Guess she prefers some customers...
