Beautifuly well preserved facility. Goergious area for the activities held. Informative about the history of Cisco ; from there Humble beginnings ;). Definatly say; if your passing through ,and wanting to visit, and learn. This should be on your list. If your looking for a beautiful setting for a wedding, prom, or any formal function. I would recommend here. Inside is decorated with memories from the past. Open area for dinner parties; with a stage. Could do award ceremonies, or weddings. Plenty of places for fantasticly beautiful photography settings. The outside area is quiet breathtaking. Walk paths around green grass. Benches to sit on; under beautiful trees. A rock fountain with benches around it. Brick road that has been presevred very well. Plenty of parking. I tell you true. I would love to be here all day. It is so very relaxing and...

This is 1.3 miles from I-20, down a 35 mph road and police cars patrol this so go slowly. It was fun to see a street sign sayng Conrad Hilton Blvd.

From Wiki, his dad owned a general store and 10-room hotel in a NM county south of Albuquerque. Conrad was born in 1887, and had been a representative in NM's first legislature. He came here at 31 years old, at the heignt of the oil boom in 1919 to buy a bank but bought this instead.

He sold this in 1929 before the depession, but meanwhile had bought or built hotels in Dallas (1925), Abilene (1927), Waco (1930), and El Paso (1930). During the depression he lost some hotels but in the 1940s built more.

I went by on a Sunday when closed but was glad...

The water park and playground are a great place for kids to play. There's a playing field and sheltered picnic area. The playground is turf with thick foam padding. The playground is springy to walk on and a soft landing for the kids. There's a learning center built-in the jungle gym. It looks like there is a frame for a shade over the jungle gym, but it hasn't been...

I’ve realized that a lot of my clients come to me from out of town. My studio is in Cisco, TX. I’ve lived here my entire life, and there’s so many unique things about our small town. I’m starting this series to give you some ideas of what you can do when you come to Cisco for your portrait session. Come stay a few days and enjoy what Cisco has to offer! Of course, my first feature is the first Hilton Hotel! The top floor has a very interesting museum to browse through. It’s open to the public and by donation. 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm Monday- Friday. #ciscotx #hilton
