Amazing views and instant tranquility. I wandered in for a quick walk and stayed way longer. Little side trails dip into the woods, over a tiny footbridge, down scrappy steps to a creek, then a gorgeous boardwalk appears beside an abandoned brick hat factory. I saw a small waterfall and a couple folks quietly fishing along the water. Clear signage and well kept paths made it easy to roam. There is direct access to the Hudson River.

Perfect spot for a low effort reset. Soft trails, birds, gentle water, and a big sky moment when you pop out by the river. I saw a couple of deer and bunnies walk right in front of me. Parts can be muddy after rain and some paths are narrow, but the boardwalk is easy and very photogenic. Bring bug spray, wear shoes you do not mind getting dirty, and take your time because the tiny offshoots are worth it.

I will be back for sunset. Feels like a...

Rather small but interesting park along the last part of the Fishkill Creek where it connects to the Hudson River. Small parking lot holds 12 cars or so. If you head one way it dead ends after a very short distance at very pretty waterfalls (see pic). Walk the other way, towards the river, into a path through some marshlands. Small area in total, but very nice.

The park sort of connects to nearby Denning Point Park. There’s a sign saying that they plan to extend the trail to connect the two formally. A family we saw in the lot at Madam Brett Park biked over to Denning Point Park with their small child. Very easy. Denning Point park has an eagle blind. Although the main trail there is currently closed, you can still access the...

Scenic Hudson has restricted trails and have poorly maintained the crumbling infrastructure with bandaid jobs. This park was a gem as a child where one could fish and swim and greet community and now it's a tourist hole that barely goes into the woods. I understand the old factory is to be abandoned but the walkway around it is in true disrepair and someone could get hurt easily. Glad to see there is soil sampling going on extensively for the multimillion dollar projects that will have to do extensive chemical remediation, but that's all the good I see coming of this place until Scenic Hudson turns it into a strip mall or a loft with apartments to further endanger the wetlands and estuaries we as a community have...
