A cute little museum. The last was extremely knowledgeable about the history and future plans of the railway. They hope to extend the railway in the next few years to bring it back to it's former glory and I hope they do. Salamanca is such a cute town and should definitely be a tourist spot.

We enjoyed the museum alot, the lady there was full of information and interesting facts about the depot and it's history. A nice place to visit if you are in the area or staying at Allegany and want a quick day trip from camp for the kids, they will love the place.

Beautiful building in great shape. Sadly going to be closed until December (or longer) due to covid.

A beautifully restored passenger depot is the highlight. Talking to Jaré Cardinal, director of the Salamanca Rail Museum, was a close second. The pictures and artifacts were very nice as well. The stories and information she told us was very interesting. She told us of some grand plans they have in the works and we certainly hope they come true. Other than a donation, the museum is free. Definitely...

Such a neat place. The gift shop is ultra nice. Hours are actually 12pm to 4pm, but it's super nice outside of the station also. The one who works there is very knowledgeable. I am so, so happy that the Salamenca Rail Museum is actively working with the Seneca Nation to properly expand the Rail. Looking forward to visiting...

The woman who is working in the rail museum was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the place, she showed us around and told us a lot of stories, this made this an awesome stop to look back at history of the rail. They are making plans for improvements so I would definitely like to go back...
