Clairton Park — Attraction in Clairton

Grassy areas are well maintained. They have an unfinished concession stand that has wooden rafters that are sitting open to the elements for several years uninstall. It would be wonderful if adults could get the stand built after “Years “ with new materials being ruined by the elements. This is not a good mentoring exposure to children whom visit the park, of not completing a task. The rear field has what apparently is a dirt or sand pile with weeds growing out of it! blocking the lone handicap parking spot which every adult knows is a violation of the ADA act! First visit was definitely last visit. The language from the kids swimming was terrible, lifeguards not attentive to their surrounding, and bathroom/dressing room was dirty. Police monitor it daily because of the roughness. I tried talking to the lady that runs the pool, and she was very rude. She said that she can't control whats said, my kids should understand because apparently using bad language is what is normal. I come here because it is one of the rare pools that allow fun and freedom! You can bring in coolers, water toys and beach gear. I also appreciate the fairly priced concession stand! However, their bathroom/changing room is flat out triflin. It needs a very good deep cleaning or makeover.
