River Valley Community College — Attraction in Claremont

I am currently in rolled in the Massage Certificate Program. I started in Fall 2014 I am taking to classes a semester so as a part time student River Valley as a whole has been wonderful all the staff has been great. From the front reception desk, the financial aid office, all the great help from the student success center and my awesome adviser. My adviser has been a great leader through my whole time at River Valley. She gave me her advise to add an Associated Degree to my educational program. This was nice to her that she thought it would be good for me so I have also I rolled into the General Education Assocites Degree program. Would not recommend this college to anyone. Very disheveled and disorganized. Advisors are also program directors and it is difficult to actually speak to someone who can advise you in any way. If you're supposed to get a refund for a course you have taken, good luck. Even if you submit the correct forms on time it takes months to get it back. The massage program is not up to par with other program requirements in the state and they are trimming it...

I have had a lot of issues with financial aid. Classes that are teleconference to different locations take a while to set up and are still blurry. You can't see the class context when the instructor is explaining on the board or doing a PowerPoint so you're not actually able to take notes.
