Absolutely beautiful, a huge thank you to John Woollam for protecting such a wonderful place. Take the walk to the beach then head east for some great views of the lake but also a beautiful forest. I went about a mile, you do leave the preserve but it is all part of the Huron birding trail. Go back to the trail that goes west and follow that until it connects to the Sand Bay trail? (sorry forgot the name already but just follow the trail). The woods are not as pretty as going east but when you get to the bay it is worth the 1.5 mile hike. I would give this 10...

Our own little Narnia Trail. This is a 4 mile out and back trail that takes you through many different landscapes, from the beach of Lake Huron to a dense and beautiful fairy forest. It is a simple trail, however there are spots that the tree roots are dominant. I saw a bunch of random trash like a sock, towel, shorts, scattered throughout the trail, and my guess is it is from the people that want to find that fantastic cove and beach, and do a bit...
