I knew I wanted to get married at Dove Hollow Estate long before I was even engaged — it’s that stunning. Once we were, it was the very first and only venue we toured because we knew without a doubt it was the perfect place for us. From the breathtaking scenery to the charming details throughout the property, it felt like stepping into a dream.

Every single guest told us how beautiful the venue was and how magical the entire day felt. Dove Hollow has this rare ability to feel both grand and intimate — it’s elegant, warm, and absolutely unforgettable.

In addition to the venue itself, I had the absolute joy of working with Madlyn, one of the co-owners, as our day-of coordinator. She was truly superwoman. Not only is she incredibly kind and personable (I genuinely feel like we’re friends now!), but she went above and beyond to make sure our day was flawless down to the very last detail. She handled everything with such calm confidence and grace that we were able to fully relax and just enjoy the best day of our lives.

It’s a beautiful venue but there are a few issues. There is no reason a bride and the entire bridal/groomsmen party should be sweating! There is such a thing as heat rises and it was entirely to hot upstairs in the bridal and groomsmen suites. We asked multiple times if they can turn up the AC and they said it was as low as it could go! I looked at both of there AC units and they were set to 74 degrees and the units were covered with a box and locked so they are the only ones that can change it! The one fan they had in the bridal suite is for looks not functionality. You had to stand an inch away from it to get any relief! We should not have had to redo hair and make twice just from all the sweating! They stated that the men always sweat in suits. Well if you know they sweat then you should have a way to accommodate! I recently had my wedding at Dove Hollow Estate on May 5th. The venue was everything I had hoped it would be. We set up the food and bar service outside under the awning to help with the flow of traffic. This is something I recommend if you expect any more than 140 guests. You are not able to start decorating until the day of at 10am unless you rent the venue the day before. We were worried about this, but had enough help the day of that everything went smoothly and on time. The owners are there available the day of if you need anything, and were very helpful in accompanying us.
