Read moreAbsolutely beautiful fall hike to take. I took the advice from a review on Alltrails and took the Pedestal Rocks trail counterclockwise, and then the Kings Bluff trail clockwise. As far as intensity goes, I considered the trails to be easy, but I am also a fairly avid hiker. I suppose they can be considered moderate due to the small stretches of inclines they have, as well as the narrowness of the path in places; some of those narrow stretches being higher up/on an edge with no railing. I did see people down near the base of the pedestal rocks, but I myself did not go down to explore. Mostly due to time and not knowing how they got down there in the first place. If you only have time for one trail, I would say to take the Kings Bluff trail clockwise, because that will give you the best views. (I like to save the best for last, so taking it that direction will cause you to savour the views once you get to them.) Absolutely gorgeous and beautiful and magical at this time of year. Definitely take the time to...

All of us are in good shape but of course being in motorcycle boots and full gear we got awfully sweaty on the way back up. I would rate the trail about an 8 out of 10 but it definitely would not be something I would advise my elderly parents to go do. Also anyone with children, yes there are signs but I'd highly advise making sure they're disciplined to listen because we saw undisciplined kids almost die several times and finally their parents had to put them on a leash. This entire area is absolutely beautiful and well preserved. I have it on my notes to go back and take the longer trailhead to the...
