Woodbine Vineyards — Attraction in Clarksville

My husband and I really enjoyed discovering this gem of a winery in rural Virginia. Ample outdoor seating, a beautiful and comfortable indoor venue, and a charming hostess who made us feel welcome and imparted the blurb about the wines and history of this fairly new winery. The wines surpassed our expectations, the Merlot, Cab Franc, Pinot and Chardonelle were excellent. They have a Honeysuckle (white) and a Sweet Red for those who enjoy something sweeter. This is a wonderful place to relax, drink wine, stare at the scenery and listen to great music!! Sister and I went for a visit and had a tasting. Fell in love with the merlot. Drank a bottle in their beautifully decorated barn. They have horse stalls on one side, each decorated differently with games, chairs, sofas and VERY comfortable chairs, ( napping chairs!).
