Willow Point - Middle Creek WMA — Attraction in Clay Township

If there is not a rest stop for snow geese migration, how many people will stop by there? The view of thousands of snow geese flying over is really an impressive scene. The site itself, nothing worth mention.

During the snow geese season, the parking spots at the visiting center and the satellite parking (better and closer view) is far from enough. The parking lot closer to the snow geese only provide a few dozen parking spots. A lot of cars have to parallel parked on both sides of the road.

This is a great place to walk and see nature at it's best. One HUGE downfall is that they allow vehicles to drive through and it scares off the wildlife. This is a place where people should be able to view nature as it is intended, as a pedestrian, not through your window driving by or in some cases, speeding by people who are trying to enjoy nature by walking. If they would not allow vehicles to go through the reserve, then I would give it 5 stars, but because they do, can only give it a 3 as it is VERY ANNOYING while trying to walk and enjoy nature and have to...

I never imagined that middle creek is so beautiful with hundreds of thousands of snow geese. When I was entering the area I thought it was covered with snow! Snow this time of the season? It’s almost 50! Then realized those are millions of beautiful creatures taking shelter for the rest of the day! There was no other sound except the bird’s talking to each other!
