The fact that there were only two vehicles in the parking lot on a Saturday at 1:00 p.m. should have told us everything we needed to know. And as it turns out, the vehicles belonged to the employees.
Overall impression was of a rundown and uncared about group of buildings. We went into the store, and there were two people behind the counter playing on their phones. We said hello, and never even received a glance.
We wandered around looking at the shelves. They did have lots of items amongst the shelves, but many were covered in dust, which just added to the feeling that the place was not cared for.
We purchased some strawberry jam, and when we were checking out we asked about the goats and if we could see them. We were told they don't allow people to see the goats anymore, which is contradictory to what the website says.
Aside from that small interaction, and giving us our change, they went back to their phones and never...

I went apple picking last weekend with my boyfriend and we bought two $12 gallon bags (that the clerk happily sold us with no warning) to fill with apples. The place had a sign warning of apples with spots but we thought it would still be okay until we saw the trees. The trees had rotting apples on them or no apples at all and there was hardly anything to pick! We barely got 10 apples but gave up after wandering for an hour. We tried to refund one of the unused bags but the clerk said we had to talk to the manager who wasnโt present so we basically wasted our money (weird since literally everybody was coming back for refunds). We instead bought their pre-picked apples which look like they came from a grocery store. The apple cider slush and apple pies were also not very good. Not planning on coming back in the future. I donโt usually leave reviews but this...

There's a fun scavenger hunt for kids that has them exploring the grounds, but watch out for the ant hills, because one of my nephews stood on top of one at one of the clue sights and had well over 20 bites on his legs. There's a really fun "mine" were kids can pan for cool rocks, but the audio for the robots, which is only about 30 seconds long, is on a loop that quickly began to attack my sanity. The country store had the typical selection of BBQ sauces, hot sauces, cider, jams, jellies, and so on, but service is a little on the slow side if shoppers number 10 or more. I'd recommend another place to go...
