The intersection of art, history, nature and hospitality. This is a great destination when you feel like a little drive to get away from it all. Something feels warm and cozy when you walk in the door. There's certainly an artistic vibe, but you also feel the history of the Old Mill and when you walk out on the porch nature practically splashes you in the face!
And let's not forget the pottery! Beautiful and unique designs.
They have expanded the shop and removed the work area where the artisans used to occasionally be working as you were shopping. I miss that, but I understand why. And the new layout is very nice. It looked like there might be an area where you could possibly look through a doorway, but that was not open when we visited.
Some tips for your visit. Sodas are outside in the cooler and were a dollar the last time I was there. And they have fish food available for sale in bags at the register. It used to be in a dispenser on the porch, but this new method works fine.

I do understand inflation and prices go up. I do not understand rude employees to someone who is there to potentially buy an item from your store and helping pay your paycheck. What I let down what your employees have...

As soon as we started feeding them we were stopped by the owners Demanding that we stop due to the weather being “too hot” (80* and cloudy). Apparently it’s harmful for the fish to eat during the summer? I’ve never heard of this. As I stated before we’ve done this dozens of times during winter and summer. May be a petty review but my daughter was super excited to feed the fish and was quite disappointed. I didn’t know they...
