My ex got my silver Honda pilot stuck out on the lake bed when it was dried up. Tried to have it recovered by multiple recovery crews however the suction was so great that it broke every rope, winch cable and even pulled a recovery hook right out of a vehicles bumper. It even snapped my recovery hook that's welded to the frame of the the car itself. So it is as I suspect, at the bottom of that lake now. It this bothers anyone I do sincerely apologize. Anyone have any ideas or resources to possibly help me recover it? And does anyone else know about the car aside from me or has anyone seen it? And if so, can you see it from above the water? Thank you...

They have allowed people to purchase land right on the lake and have taken away the campgrounds. The only access now to the lake is Speely Beach! How is the public going to be able to enjoy camping out in the mountains? They can't! Pretty soon it will be like all the lakes around the Seattle area. Example: Lake Sammamish, Green Lake, Lake Washington and so on.......

It is one of three large lakes located within a few miles of each other. Cle Elum in the Native American Kittitas Tribe means "swift water" and references the Cle Elum River before the dam was built. The first lake is Keechelus Lake, and the other and largest of the three is Kachess Lake, located in the Wenatchee National Forest. These three lakes are all natural glacial lakes that were dammed at their outlets to control the water levels for irrigation. As always, leave no trace, leave it better than you found it,...
