We had the best time at Red Top lookout trail. We had to park 1.25 miles from the trailhead because a tree fell down, not sure when they will fix it, but this was on May 16th. I think it’s been cleared.
The trail was empty, we were the only people there. We were able to spot a bear far away down in a clearing. We didn’t know there were bears in the area. Actually we’re surprised because there was no mention of bears on the animals listed by the trailhead.
