Brassfield Estate Winery — Attraction in Clearlake

Our favorite Lake County winery! We drove in and were in awe of the amazing landscaping and beauty of this amazing vineyard. We found the tasting room and were greeted by a very enthusiastic tasting room attendant who took us on the journey of the Brassfield wine collection. We enjoyed every taste! We were lucky enough to run into one of the managers of the operations (I'm not sure if I'm right on that title...) and he took us on a little tour into the bottling rooms. We had a great time! We talked to a few of the other patrons, who happened to live in Lake County (If the locals come up there to drink the wine then it has to be good right?). An absolutely beautiful winery. Definitely off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. The wines are amazing. The tasting room is clean and pleasant, a little bit far and confusing from the parking but beautiful, well kept grounds to appreciate on the walk. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Caroline was an absolute delight! It was my first time trying wine and Caroline made me, my wife and her family feel at home, welcomed, and was very insightful on everything to do with wine. The location is a little rough to get to but, well worth it! The estate is gorgeous! Beautiful scenery, statues and I would recommend this place for weddings or photography sessions. Cell service kind of takes a dump once you get there but, you'll be too busy having fun and enjoying the experience to even care. CAROLINE...
