On our way home to Chico from Fort Bragg, we stopped at Cache Creek Vineyards for a late afternoon wine tasting. My goodness, what a lovely space! We sat outside in Adirondack chairs under large shady trees, and enjoyed a Classic Tasting ($15). They welcomed our pup — even brought him treats! — and were fine with us enjoying our own road trip "car-cuterie", even though they sell charcuterie style snacks in the tasting room. Cache Creek is a bit too far out of the way for regular visits, but anytime we traverse Hwy 20 to the coast & back, I will put in a request for a stop here!

This was a pleasant stop. Cache Creek winery has really nicely landscaped grounds. It's spacious and relaxing. Definitely dog friendly (always appreciated). Wine tasting fee included the glass, but no discounts on wine, unfortunately. Still a nice spot to stop and rest.

This is a lovely winery in my neighborhood . They have local nites for concerts on fridays and do about one or 2 public concerts a mo ! Last one was tyler rich ! They also had a pop up taco stand that was incredible ! The weekend local nite is fun !

Stopped on our way to worldmark in clear lake...was a Thursday afternoon so pretty quiet. Great attention from the staff and loved the stories about their wine and the elk. It will definitely be our go to winery anytime we are up that way. Purchased 2 amazing bottles and my friends each purchased a case. The grounds were beautiful and inside wine tasting areas had alot of food choices/snacks to pair with the wine. Would...
