Cache Creek Vineyards and Winery — Attraction in Clearlake

On our way home to Chico from Fort Bragg, we stopped at Cache Creek Vineyards for a late afternoon wine tasting. My goodness, what a lovely space! We sat outside in Adirondack chairs under large shady trees, and enjoyed a Classic Tasting ($15). They welcomed our pup — even brought him treats! — and were fine with us enjoying our own road trip "car-cuterie", even though they sell charcuterie style snacks in the tasting room. Stopped on our way to worldmark in clear lake...was a Thursday afternoon so pretty quiet. Great attention from the staff and loved the stories about their wine and the elk.
