Attended the college baseball games on Feb 9th. Upon arrival, there were no personnel at gate to take tickets. Although other guests were just going into the facility, we went to purchase tickets at the ticket counter, however, all Windows were marked as closed. We made our way into the main office and after looking around for someone, a lady asked us what we needed. We explained we needed to purchase tickets, and she told us it would be $40 For my wife and I. Knowing the online price was $13 per ticket we inquired into how the price could be so much higher. The lady stated "That was online only" which my wife replied "I'll get them online" and was told "You can't get them online anymore". My wife went online and was able to purchase the tickets. Additionally, even paying $3 per ticket for online purchase, the total was $33.00. This is the only venue that I've ever heard of in which the ticket counter sales price is higher than the online price, even with a convenience charge included in the online price. Doesn't make sense! Seems like the lady (one of two ladies working) was trying to scam us. After she seen we had purchased online, proving her wrong, she became even more rude and told my wife, who had a cup of coffee, " there's no outside drinks allowed", interestingly though since we noticed most patrons inside with food and drinks from local fast food restaurants. Need to tighten up your policies and customer service, and probably monitor your employees. Something seems fishy about why we would be charged $6.02 MORE per ticket at ticket booth (that was closed) than online when it's ALWAYS cheaper to buy at venue. Perhaps the extra cost can go into training these unprofessional and...
Read moreplace to come see a decent minor league baseball ⚾️ team, where you could sit at the bar 🍸 by 3rd base for 10.00. There is always a great breeze, and the fans were always great to be around. Now you must pay full price for tickets 🎟 by the field until all seats are sold out and they never do, so it was 43.00 for 2 adults and 5.00 for parking. The policy changes just flat-out suck 😒 and a way to tap you for more money 💰 because they can. The fun atmosphere is just gone, but that's what happens when a 🧠 brainless wonder makes idiotic changes. I would come to Cleburne a couple of times a year, stay in a hotel 🏨 to enjoy a game, but this will albsolutly be my last. Quit trying to soak out every dollar 💵 out of someone just cause you can. I surely miss the good old days when people charged a fair price and life was much more fun. Now we fight inflation, tip-flation, shrink-flation, and flat-out robbery, and it must be called out!!..SAFE TRAVELS TO ALL AND AVOID THE CLEBURNE...
