Nice, well maintained trail and nature preserve. Paved throughout, with wooden bridges, mostly flat walk. Lots of little overlooks to Candies Creek, a few benches for sitting. Public restrooms, found in the front parking lot, are clean. Tons of frisbee golf courses. Free. When you come into the parking lot, on the right there’s a pollinator garden for bees with local wildflowers. Really awesome to see.

Could use more trash bins for dog waste and benches for the elderly. Not lit at all, so park closed at sundown. I also don’t see any safety call boxes or anything like that, which maybe crime here is so low that’s not even a thought.

One improvement I’d like to see is a community garden or more local trees planted that produce fruit. There’s so much space here and we could be growing community crops. Just a suggestion.

Love the park. Very pleasant to walk around or just sit and relax. Couple of picnic areas to use if you need a place to eat and enjoy the day. Long walking path throughout that meanders in and out of the trees while listening to the birds as you go by. I see they installed a Disc Golf course, good for them. It will bring more notoriety to the city and may enticed a major tournament one day, which would bring significant amount of money to the area, plus supply money to the park for updates and improvements, thus not costing the citizens any additional tax dollars. I'd love to come back and see it in a few years and follow its progress. Keep up the wonderful work! Check out my video on the Disc Golf Park on m y YouTube channel, "Disc Golf Course Videos" @SoonerDiscGuy Have a great round &...

I would have loved to be in the meeting where some morons decided to turn this formerly gorgeous nature walk into a disc golf course. They destroyed some of the best spots for a plastic basket frat boys are gonna have a field day with (pics don't do it justice). It's especially infuriating because this park already had enough clearings for this sort of thing, but someone felt the need to specifically cut down more trees for it! It's honestly a tragedy. This was one of the best local spots for a casual, scenic nature walk. It was a peaceful place where one could feel close to nature. Now, the nature lasts only a few feet before you reach yet another clearing for disc golfers. I'm bitter about this. Pics are...

I have to give it a 1 star for now because we must have came at dinner time for skitter bugs. We didn't get a chance to even enjoy the walk. It was like the scene in Yes Man where he took up photo jogging. Hey look a pavilion, run across the bridge, what's that, no time to stop and enjoy - karate moves I didn't even know I have. But anywho - next time hopefully it isn't feeding time! Will update then. Update: we decided to go back today. We made sure to bathe in bug spray. We took the other trail thinking there was a dog park? Guess there wasn't. But either way pretty cool sights.
