Big Rock Winery — Attraction in Clifton

My daughter and I drove an hour-and-a-half round trip yesterday to visit the winery for the first time. On Google, it said it was open until 6 pm. Well get there at 5ish and it was not open at all... Small family owned winery off the beaten path. The road in is very bumpy. Be forewarned and take it nice and slow. Wine is not the best. They definitely do a better job with their sweeter wines. Driving back a way I’d never gone and saw the sign for the winery. Spur of the moment stop and boy am I glad I did. Rick is a very interesting and knowledgeable guy to talk to, had me try several different excellent wines, and kept me entertained between the wine, his bees, and talking boats.
